The Darlin' Duck Derby is the signature fund-raising event for the Clayton County CASA Program, and this year there's a new duck in Olde Towne! This year's event is scheduled for September 25, 2010. Race day events will be held at Olde Towne Morrow, located at Southlake Mall in Morrow, GA. Activities begin at 10:00AM. Families from the surrounding communities will be joining together for a fun-filled day of food, entertainment, and activities for all!

Now in its 12th year, the Darlin' Duck Derby is an exciting opportunity to get the whole community involved in support of a great cause. Each of the 4,000 numbered rubber ducks participate in a breathtaking race to the finish line. In the weeks leading up to the big event tickets are sold and randomly matched up with a racing duck. On race day, all 4,000 ducks waddle their way up to the starting line and they're off! Assisted by a current created by our fire department's water hoses, the ducks race to the finish line.

The numbers of the winning ducks are recorded and prizes donated by local businesses are awarded to the winners. This year there are guaranteed CASH prizes!! There is even an opportunity to test your luck at "Quacking the Vault" for a chance to win a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer, sponsored by Heritage Cadillac SAAB Mitsubishi.
